The desert-filled RPG Arc of Alchemist will be heading to Europe on January 31, 2020, preorders are still available here.
Meet two members of the Neuhaven's expedition team, Garett Van Dyne and Darius Kendrix! The Neuhaven Expedition team, led by Garett Van Dyne, is a rival faction that is also set on finding the Great Power - the key that will save humanity.
Garett has a reputation for being cruel and cold-hearted, but he cares deeply for his family and his subordinates. Because of their allegiances, he and Quinn are enemies, but he is nonetheless curious about her.
Darius is an officer of Neuhaven with a long and decorated history. His axe has crushed the helmets of a thousand soldiers, and he is one of the few people within Garett's close circle. He is something of a family man who enjoys cooking for his wife and children.
Jester Silverhawk is also one of the members in Quinn's expedition team, where acts as the reconnaissance member, actively gathering information.
He is stoic, yet extremely devoted towards his missions. He is logical, accurately and calmly reading situations before acting. Only on the rarest of occasions is he ever seen in a fluster.
Jester had also participated in the desert expedition 20 years ago that ended in failure, causing him to reckon with a past that nearly resulted in his demise.
As part of the military clergy, Rune is in charge of treating injured troops that got hurt during the perilous journey. She is skilled at sewing and cooking, and is known by all for her kindness.
The ever-so-patient Rune can talk down even the self-willed Sandra. Micah refers to her calming ability as a "maternal power", in which Rune takes great pride.
Here are some screenshots of the Base, which you can use to prepare for the long journey ahead of you. Here you can set party formations, train, construct buildings, and heal.
It's also possible to select from a wide range of facilities to help strengthen your party members. For example, create a Maintenance of Weapons Facility to unlock powerful weapons for battle!
Players will need to buy new items as they progress through the Desert of Beginnings and failing to do so will have major consequences. As you explore, you will encounter an abundance of items that you can sell to get currency. Grab all the items you can, as you will need to upgrade a variety of things with money, including the expansion of your base, attaining stronger weapons, and boosting specific stats for each character!
Training is a vital feature where all the playable characters can learn new skills and upgrade them. Learning and upgrading skills will also cost in-game currency, so check your balance before spending.
Being one of the team's most competent members, Micah is recognized for her common sense. She supports Vice-Captain Axel and she used to be his squire.
In secret, she harbors feelings for Axel, and she also takes on the role of admonishing him when he gets out of hand!
Axel’s skills as a knight are unparalleled and he's attained several victories in battle exercises.
He is utterly devoted to and dotes upon Quinn excessively, much to his own detriment.
